Emotional eating was part of my life for a long, long time… I suffered from severe anxiety, I had panic attacks for many years, it hurt so much to be under my own skin back in the day. The only thing I could do was to numb myself with food and alcohol… Numb me from my painful thoughts of comparison, perfectionism, self-judgement, anxiety, diets that kept failing and lack of self-love. The funny thing is, my life from the outside was beautiful and “perfect”...
I had many people to hang out with for food and drinks, I could travel, I was single with money and no kids…. But in pretty much everything I did, I was trying to find an escape from my own pain. I couldn’t picture myself without anxiety and food to calm me down in my life.
Kundalini Yoga completely changed my life, it is the most powerful tool that I know of to provide quick and lasting transformation in our eating habits due to the elevated state of consciousness you built.
